Hi — I'm Dave.

Solo founder, Berlin.
The first spark came on a visit to Poland in the summer of 2024. My wife Emilia and I were in Warsaw and Szczytno, and I asked ChatGPT for some little-known history about Szczytno.
It told me a wonderful local legend — a lake, a queen who ruled over time, an iron chain holding everything together. None of it was true.
As history, it was useless. As a story, it was brilliant. It showed me what this technology could imagine — and why fact and fiction must never be mixed up.
A few days later I started making stories for my nephew with ChatGPT. He was six, and he loved tigers, trams, football and a big adventure — so I made him the hero, with his uncle usually tagging along. An enchanted forest. A golden tram through Warsaw. Pirate treasure. Later, a whole adventure around Berlin.
What hooked me was how far it went beyond swapping in a name. The things he loved, the people around him and the places he knew could shape the whole story.
Linky and Captain Clock grew out of those stories — a robot who can explain almost anything, and a time traveller who takes you right into history.
In 2026 I started building Fabluna with the help of AI tools, including Claude. I'm building it properly, here in Berlin. The first step is simple: a beautiful story, made for your child, with them at the heart of it.
With my first child on the way, making something worthwhile for families feels especially personal.
Yes, it's AI — carefully guided by someone who's spent months refining every prompt. It's how I can make one-in-a-million-kids stories at a price a family can actually afford.
If something feels off — or if something works beautifully — I'd love to hear from you at hello@fabluna.co, or through the contact form. It reaches me.
